This review is specifically for James who works at the front desk - he made our stay here last weekend extremely worthwhile. Provided the best service and even read us some poems he wrote. Hotel itself was quite old but comfortable to stay, it is one of the only hotels in the area. If we return, it would only be because of James!

Quaint inn /motel, close to Northport. Our rooms were clean and big enough for our needs. We did not realize every bed has a footboard. My husband is quite tall and could not sleep on a full bed with footboard. The desk attendant assisted us in getting a room with a king bed which made for a much better night's sleep. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Sound insulation between rooms very poor. TV and conversation can hinder sleep.

I read other reviews, i must ve crazy because this place is old, and musty, kinda of like a relick from the 80's!! I recently stayed at this motel as it was cheaper then anywhere in the area. There are 2 other gorgeous brand new hotels locally in Northport and the village of Huntington. The place is on a highly trafficed main road and their parking lot looks like small mines were set off with mega pot holes uneven pavement. The rooms were attempted at some point to be upgraded, but that 80's look & feel and smell was obvious. The days I stayed the parkibg lot was full of tractor tailers and party buses! At least the fumes of desiel smelled better then the musty smell of the motel. It's cheap, that is the only positive I could find. I warned you!

Sometimes you take your chances booking at an unknown place. We were so happy and lucky to book here!! Great location, beautiful facility, fantastic price and the room was perfect!! Impeccably clean, no odd smells (that's a big one for us) and easy check-in and out. When in the area again, we will definitely book here!!! Can't go wrong!!

Sadly, my husband landed in the hospital, and we're unable to make our reservation date (Christmas Eve). The hotel would not give us a rain check date, which is what we wanted, let alone a refund. Shame on this property for being so insensitive over the holidays. We will NEVER book here again.
